Services

In order to help maximize the returns of investments in their exploration decision support solutions, GeoKnowledge offers a full range of complementary training and consulting services.

Maintenance & Support Services
GeoKnowledge customers with current maintenance receive ongoing support and upgrades to future releases of GeoX.

GeoX Maintenance & Support includes:
1. Technical support via e-mail, phone and fax. Our experienced support personnel respond to questions and help users troubleshoot GeoX technical issues.
2. Access to GeoX support site for technical support documents. These include installation instructions, guides to using GeoX solutions, troubleshooting information, issues and resolutions, and more.
3. Software upgrades. GeoKnowledge releases new versions of GeoX once a year that contain significant functional refinements and enhancements to the licensed tools and options.

Complementary Professional Services
Our Professional Services offers a full range of services to ensure customers achieve swift and maximum value from their investment. The services are provided by GeoKnowledge directly or via our partner network.

Our services are tailored to the specific instance based on customer requirements and GeoKnowledge's expertise. The goal of all our services is to transfer knowledge and practices to help our customers achieve self-sufficiency.

Training
GeoKnowledge offers a wide selection of training courses, both open-enrollment and in-house at client site. The courses give a review of assessment models and methods as well as of the mechanics of using GeoX.

In our experience, training courses are important elements of customer roll-outs as they can jump-start the effective use of GeoX. After the initial roll-out, training can be provided as the GeoX solution expands with new tools and options, new employees come on board, users move into more advanced analytics and use of GeoX, and so on.

GeoKnowledge also offers to "train-the-trainer" for your internal training resources, as well as training specifically for system administrators.

Installation assistance
GeoX is easy to install and upgrade, and most of our customers do not need outside technical installation assistance apart from what is covered by maintenance fee.

GeoKnowledge recognizes, however, that in some instances customers may prefer additional assistance because of varying levels of deployment needs and technology adoption. One recent example is assistance in the deployment of ASP solution hosted by third parties.

On request, GeoKnowledge therefore offer on-site or remote assistance to review installation and administration procedures, as well as carrying out actual installation on-site. In this way the customer is provided with technical expertise and quality-assurance.

Analytical consulting
GeoKnowledge can provide bespoke consulting in use of GeoX in connection with customers specific risk-resource-value evaluations. This allows users to leverage GeoKnowledge's expertise using advanced GeoX functionality, as well as to speed up learning curve.

For full-scale consulting assistance, GeoKnowledge can refer you to the appropriate partner consulting firms. These are experienced industry consultants with hands-on experience of using GeoX.

GeoX Best practice & customized configurations
With a best-practice project, the customer and GeoKnowledge in close cooperation establish and document "best-of-breed" standards and guidelines for RRV evaluation in user instructions and template cases. The GeoX customization capabilities are then used to configure your solution in line with the agreed best practice guidelines and standards. As part of best-practice projects, GeoKnowledge has also provided on-on-one mentoring in active use of GeoX and carried out workflow analysis.

By leveraging GeoKnowledge's deep technical understanding, as well as experience of other customers' challenges and value drivers, this program increases the return on investment and speeds time to effective application and use.
