Products - GeoX/gSegmentR
GeoX/gSegmentR is a powerful, yet
easy to use tool for the evaluation of prospect risks and resources.
Based on input of volumetric estimates and related risk estimates,
gSegmentR produces risked probabilistic estimates of in-place
and recoverable hydrocarbon resources. A flexible modelling framework
assists screening and rapid analysis of simple cases. The tool is
also leveraged to handle detailed and rigorous analysis of complex
cases, such as multiple zone and compartment prospects through aggregation
using the gProspectR tool. Analyses with documentation are
stored in a common database using relational database management
systems such as Oracle. The database facilitates sharing and reuse
of data across projects, disciplines and analysis tools.
Rigorous and unbiased assessment
A range of options for modelling rock volumes
promotes models fit for purpose and data availability. Aggregation
of segment analyses in gProspectR support analysis of both
risk and volume dependencies in complex prospects with multiple
zones and compartments.
Supports and promotes your best practice
The tool can be run as is. But gSegmentR
can also be customized to fit your best practice requirements
in terms of risk models, documentation standards and analysis verification.
Day-one operation
GeoX/gSegmentR is easy to use. Learning
the mechanics of the system is straightforward with a point-and-click,
in-context notebook format for access to analysis inputs and results.
Analyses are managed through the GeoXplorer browser that provides
rapid access to all data in the database.
Integrated stochastic risk, resource
and economic value (RRV) assessment
Model your analysis of stochastic prospect
economics using resource estimates as inputs to the gFullCycle
tool. Integration promotes a cross-discipline team approach to prospect
analysis.
Effective knowledge management
Powerful functions for documenting analyses
promote sharing, reusing and learning. Use of a relational database
system such as Oracle® facilitates custom reporting and analyses
- such as for post-drill review of projects and data in the GeoX
database.
Secure database
A flexible security system supports differentiated,
controlled access and operations on analyses in the shared GeoX
database. Unique user ID and password protection, with central
administrator control are a standard part of all GeoX applications.
Teams and individuals can restrict, share and publish work as it
moves through the exploration cycle.
