The integrated GeoX family of tools from GeoKnowledge provides a scalable, flexible and integrated decision support solution for prospectivity and economic analysis of exploration opportunities. GeoX runs on Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP platforms with Oracle, SQl Server and other industry-standard RDBMS.

A shared common database; a "day-one" user interface; state-of-the-art analytics; and explicit petrosystem description -- facilitates rapid analysis and promotes best practice exploration decision making while providing a "one-stop" assessment hub.

A basin-play-prospect-segment analysis framework with interchangeable SI / field units, multiple currencies toggles and a comprehensive fiscal regime modelling support active management of an international exploration portfolio.

The GeoX workbench includes the following main tools:

• /gPlayR provides support for rapid, quality-assured analysis of both hypothetical and speculative Yet-To-Find play resources.
• /gBasin is used for quick look screening (QLS) of basins and aggregation of estimates of Yet-To-Find potential.
• /gSegmentR is a powerful tool for risk and resource assessment of single compartment and zone exploration targets that supports accurate and rapid evaluation.
• /gProspectR supports risk and resource assessment of a collection of segments with explicit modelling of risk and volume dependencies, stacked reservoir relationships, leaks and shared contacts.
• /gFullCycle supports rapid analysis of potential pre-tax and after-tax economic returns (NPV, IRR, EMV) from an exploration venture.
• /gScenario is used for probabilistic aggregation of multiple scenarios for risk, resource and value assessment of exploration ventures
• /gPortfolioV supports evaluation of drilling out a portfolio of exploration ventures.

All tools support stochastic assessment with a fast Monte Carlo estimation engine, unique reports and diagrams that support effective analysis verification and interpretation.

GeoX can grow and adjust with your evolving needs and requirements. The system can be deployed in alternative configurations. The GeoX/Personal solution is a stand-alone version with single-user database intended for small companies and for use with laptop computers. The GeoX/Workgroup solution supports multiple users in a client/server configuration and active maintenance of a common corporate exploration database across multiple sites and machines. Scope of functionality can be extended on an as-needed basis to the full range of tools and options.
