A flexible security system supports differentiated, controlled access and operations on analyses in the shared GeoX database. Permissions are defined at the database level and therefore control all access to the data -- either via GeoX or directly to the database when linking to other applications such as GIS.
Unique user ID and password protection, with central administrator control are a standard part of all GeoX operations -- such as read, write, approve of analyses. Teams and individuals can restrict, share and publish work as it moves through the exploration cycle.
Versioning with test, approved and historical analyses assures a record of assessments over the life exploration and exploitation life cycle. Approved and Historical analyses are read-only.
