Day-One Operation

All the GeoX tools are easy to use with a common point-and-click, in-context, notebook format for access to analysis inputs and results.   You can concentrate on modeling your assessment situation, determining estimates of inputs, and interpreting the analysis results.  Once you have learned to use one GeoX tool, you will master the mechanics of all the tools in the system.

All analysis inputs are organized into a series of pages that group related inputs -- volume, fluids, correlations and risks for the segment analysis.  In addtion there is an initial page for documenting the analysis as well as an analysis setup page.   The assessment workflow can follow the structure of the notebook input pages.

Inputing stochastic estimates in all tools is via a common parameter input panel (PIP)  -- with the same protocol: choose distribution - enter the relevant distribution parameters estimates - apply to review for reality check - move to the next input on the notebook page.

Analyses and tools are managed through the GeoXplorer browser that provides rapid access to all data in the database in a basin-play-prospect-segment folder framework.   Separate tabs are used to organize global aggregates, templates, geological systems identifiers and cultural tables.
