The requirements for installing and running GeoX are the following systems and facilities.
GeoX software package with valid GeoX key
The supported client platforms:
- Windows 95/98/Me
- Windows NT 4
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP
- Windows 2003
Any Pentium class or higher processor with
- Required memory: 256 MB RAM
- Required hard drive space: 60 MB
Requirements for Oracle database server:
Supported Oracle versions:
- Version 8
- Version 9
- Version 10
- Personal Oracle for a single-user environment.
Hard drive and memory requirements according to Oracle documentation.
Requirements for Oracle client:
- Oracle Call Interface (OCI)
- Oracle Net
- SQL*Plus (only required for testing the connection)
Requirements for SQL Server
Supported SQL Server versions:
- SQL Server 2000
- SQL Server 2005
Installation must include database server and SQL Server Management Studio
Hard drive and memory requirements according to SQL Server documentation.
