RISK AND RESOURCE ASSESSMENT IN PROSPECTS AND PLAYS

GeoX provides a flexible, robust and comprehensive set of options for modeling volumetric uncertainties at the level of individual segments (targets):

  • Oil, gas or multiple phase (oil leg and gas cap).
  • Depth dependent modeling of area and thickness with explicit representation of contacts and spill points , with both direct depth or indirect column height representation
  • Depth dependent modeling of saturation, porosity and Net/Gross.
  • Thickness, porosity, saturation, net/gross uncertainty multipliers for rapid definition of uncertainty ranges on key parameters.
  • Direct fluid parameters such as formation volume factors, GOR, CGR as well as indirect estimates of fluid parameters as a function of either temperature, pressure and gravity or as a function of reservoir depth
  • Volumes charged estimates where contacts are interpreted as seal capacity estimates. 

Risk modeling includes:

  • Customize the number of risk (chance) factors, levels and aggregation rules
  • Shared play risking in addition to conditional segment (local) risk
