Secure Shared Database

The GeoX database provides a common shared platform for all the GeoX tools and applications.  It facilitates ease-of-use of the system and the sharing of data and experience across tools, projects and disciplines.

The GeoX database enables seamless integration between the both different types of assessments and levels of assessments:

  • Integrated segment-prospect assessment where segments are enrolled into prospects
  • Integrated play-prospect assessment where assessed prospects can be enrolled into play analyses for a complete assessment of Yet-To-Find resources.  Enrollment of discoveries complements the assessment for an estimate of ultimate recoverable resources in the play.
  • Integrated play fairway assessment where play analyses are enrolled into play sum analyses.
  • Integrated risk, resource and full cycle economic value assessment where full cycle analyses are attached to segment and prospect analyses.
  • Assessment of drilling out a portfolio of exploration opportunities where the the full cycle analyses are enrolled in the value portfolio analysis.
  • Integrated assessment and reserve tracking where assessments of assets are enrolled in the resource portfolio analysis.

The GeoXplorer is an effective browser of all assessments in your GeoX database.  The basin-play-segment and prospect structure of folders provides a simple and structured basis for organizing, finding and sharing analyses.

Functions for extensive knowledge capture and sharing promotes effective use and learning.   Versioninng where approved and historical analyses document the life cycle of your assessments.  Versioning with pre-drill and post-drill analyses also provides an effective platform for assessment performance tracking.

A comprehensive and flexible permissions scheme lets you control access, editing and approval at the level of analyses.
