Products - GeoX/FullCycle
Realistic (e)valuation of exploration prospects
and discoveries is demanding. Systematic analysis of the economic
implications of exploration, reservoir, development, production
and market uncertainties requires an integrated modeling approach.
Comprehensiveness needs to be balanced with specification detail.
Estimates of value must be transparent, unbiased and comparable
across projects for effective decision making.
GeoX/gFullCycle provides a complete,
but simple approach to modelling the exploration, development and
production (ED&P) activities, costs and revenues that drive
exploration project after-tax economic returns. An innovative modelling
approach supports consistent probabilistic evaluation of after-tax
NPV and commercial risks. Rapid full cycle evaluation of prospects
and discoveries focuses attention on commercial opportunities. Unique
documentation, validation and interpretation functions combined
with a comprehensive database facility support and promote effective
decision-making.
Integrated stochastic risk, resource
and economic value (RRV) assessment
Model your analysis of stochastic prospect
economics using resource estimates from the gSegmentR/gProspectR
tools. System promotes a team approach to prospect analysis. No
shoe-horning of data between disciplines. After-tax NPV covers three
exploration outcomes: commercial success, non-commercial success
and dry hole.
Optimize your international exploration
portfolio
Consistent after-tax review of investment
opportunities across fiscal regimes assures that your international
exploration portfolio is populated with the best opportunities.
gFullCycle supports accurate modelling of both concession (tax/royalty)
and contract (PSC) regimes.
Day-one operation
GeoX/gFullCycle is easy to use. Learning
the mechanics of the system is straightforward with a point-and-click,
in-context notebook format for access to analysis inputs and results.
Analyses are managed through the GeoXplorer browser that provides
rapid access to all data in the database.
Rigorous and unbiased assessment of
complex cases
U unique gFullCycle modelling facility enables
you to capture how activity duration, intensity, development solutions,
and costs vary with size. Validate your model with deterministic
analyses before you run the full stochastic simulation.

Effective knowledge management
Powerful functions for documenting analyses
promote sharing, reusing and learning. Fiscal regimes, ED&P
activity models, cost models and economic scenarios can be shared
across analyses for rapid and consistent evaluation of projects.
Use of a relational database system such as Oracle® facilitates
custom reporting and analyses of projects and data in the GeoX database.
Secure database
A flexible security system supports
differentiated, controlled access and operations on analyses in
the shared GeoX database. Unique user ID and password protection,
with central administrator control are a standard part of all GeoX
applications. Teams and individuals can restrict, share and publish
work as it moves through the exploration cycle.
