This three-day course provides participants with an overview of the concepts of full cycle value assessment, and prepares them to assess both simple and complex projects using the GeoX software. The class combines lectures, exercises using manual calculations, and exercises using GeoX to illustrate assessment concepts and their application.
The course will use a realistic case with a cluster of opportunities. The introduction will look at doing the basic economics of exploring and exploiting a single target. The concepts and application will be expanded to handle multiple targets with staged, conditional mulitple targets with shared risk dependencies, shared facilities and shared fiscals.
