GeoKnowledge is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Sales team in Houston. You will be responsible for successfully selling and managing accounts for GeoKnowledge software products and services in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities;
- Presenting to executive levels of organizations and preparing formal proposals; leading negotiations; coordinating complex decision-making process and overcoming objections to closure.
- Individual needs to maintain a strong knowledge of oil and gas and technology initiatives and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management in a timely and consistent manner.
Experience/Skills preferred
- 5 + years professional selling experience in upstream oil and gas industry
- Successful at selling exploration related technology to VP-level and Up
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota
- Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills
- Self driven, motivated and results oriented while also an excellent team player
Travel
Education
Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university. Degree/s in any of the following would be advantageous: Geology, Reservoir Engineering and Petroleum Engineering.
