GeoKnowledge is pleased to announce the release of GeoX 5.8.6. This latest version of GeoX includes improved versions of the initial 5.8 assessment options for doing resource plays (shale gas and CBM), for modeling fluid parameters based on pressure, temperature and gravity estimates and for modelling charge to segments in charge limited plays.
The new 5.8 full cycle tool for doing economic assessment of staged exploration and exploitation of multple target opportunities such as clusters, hubs and concessions has been further extended in 5.8.5. A revamped fiscal regime modelling capability facilitates building and using fiscal with PSC, State Participation, Contractor, Working Interest and Other Interest components. The GeoX global fiscal library that is constantly growing has been upgraded to the new 5.8.6 format.
The 5.8 Reserve and Resource Tracker has been extended in 5.8.6 to cover stochastic resource and reserve classification. This capability facilitates effective integration of assessments for booking of stochastic reserves and resources balances.
A new ArcGIS plugin leverages the GeoX 5.8.6 Data Channel for active support of map-based assessment of play and play fairway Yet-To-Find.
These (with many more) 5.8.6 enhancements and extensions complete the rich and significant new features and improvements that were introduced in the earlier versions of GeoX 5.8:
- Reporting tables and custom views for custom reporting and easy integration of GeoX database data with other applications
- In-place results and trial browsing that replicates recoverable results functionality
- Reserve Tracker for doing PRMS-compliant classification and categorization of resources and reserves
- Full segment modeling capability for modelling postulated potential accumulations in play assessment
- Typed properties(text, closed selection list, open selection list, integer, float and date) for better control and QA of data
